Systemic Constellations
In a systemic constellation, representatives for the members or aspects of a social system are chosen from a group of real people or figures and set up representatively in relation to one another in space. Such a system can be a family (family constellation), a work team or an organization (organizational constellation) or an abstract system (structural constellation).
System constellations are not role-playing games; they are about recognizing and changing potentially dysfunctional relationship structures. In systemic constellations one can often get amazing and unexpected insights into the relationship dynamics of the system, family or group in question. Conflicts that may not have been obvious before become more apparent, which can be helpful in finding a solution and coping with them.
System constellations offer a creative and intuitive approach to better understand the interrelationships in a group or system and to get to know the individual perspectives of the different members of the system.
