Systemic family therapy

Systemic family therapy strives for establishing positive changes in the relationships between family members. The quality of the communication between family members and the development of understanding and empathy for each other is an essential factor for the functioning and the well-being of each of the family members.

As a family therapist, I focus on activating and strengthening the family's resources, in order to solve problems independently, by observing their interactions, translating possible misunderstandings and trying to work out solutions together with the family. In particular, I use non-violent communication according to Marshall Rosenberg as well as techniques of de-escalation and conflict management.
